I tested at 9 & 10 dpo and got negatives, no line at all for the whole 10 minutes. On dpo 11 (yesterday) I got a faint line after 4 minutes. Today I took my last test to confirm, I thought it would come up faster and darker, but it didn't. It still took about 4 minutes to show a line, and it didn't look any darker than yesterday's. These were all New Choice tests from the dollar store. Are they pretty accurate? Should I buy more or just relax? Technically I'm on day 32 of my cycle, so I'm "late", but I'm pretty sure I ovulated on day 20, so really it's still early. Thoughts?

From what I've read, HCg takes about 48 hours to double in your system so taking a test the next day wouldn't give you a dramatic change in color. I'd realx in the fact that you did get another positive, but wait like a week and do it again. Some people's HCG levels don't change as quickly. I did the same thing and got concerned, but after another week that line showed up dark and with late afternoon pee after only holding it for an hour! LOL

Thanks for the reassurance! I also did some googling and found that it takes longer for hcg to double than I had thought. It is still so early! I have an appointment with a midwife practice for one week from today so I am going to try to just relax until then!

I couldn't wait! I took one more test yesterday (13 dpo) and the line came up dark in less than 60 seconds! There's really a baby in there!!!!

I've had light positives 2 days in a row. Yesteday I was 9dpo, today I'm 10 dpo. My period was due 2 days ago..but I have short LP's. I plan to take a dollar store test in a couple days to see if it's darker. I took a FRER.
