I called this morning to make an appointment with my MW that delivered my DD, only to find out she's on holiday for August. 
: I really liked the idea of having the same MW for both/all our kids!
The good news is that I managed to get in with another MW whose office is closer to home, and I may even be able to have a home birth bc she has privileges at a hospital closer to home as well (I delivered my first in hospital with a MW, as we live 1+ hours from the hospital she had privileges at)...so I guess that's something. I just had SUCH a positive experience with my first MW, and was so looking forward ot being under her care again.

I just found out my MW is moving out of state next month. 
There is another MW in the office, but I've never met her. DH wasn't crazy about her, so maybe this is a good thing. I need to make an appointment so I can meet her partner before she leaves.
