My FIL talks about a doc who did EDD's based on moon phases...he believed that pg lasted 9 phases of the moon. Which would mean that the phase of the moon when you conceived would be the same as delivery. I think it's normally really close to the "medical" EDD, but it's just interesting to me.
There's also a theory that more babies are born on the full moon (my dd was) but the doc who delivered me told my mom if she wanted to have babies by the moon, she could do it by herself.
He just didn't buy into it.
To use the moon chart http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/MoonPhase.php look for your conception date and then look for the date 9 phases later...it will be close to your current EDD.
