I'll be going back after the new year. But I do have some fill-in work the Wed/Th/Fri after Christmas. So far I think I'll be doing half days in January and then back to my regular (2 days/wk) in Feb. Although...depending on how it goes in January and childcare options, I might go back to my regular schedule before Feb.

How did it go for you in the office today? I can't imagine you got much done between patients asking how you are/how Dean is and having him there :

sounds like a reasonable schedule for you... that's great...

yesterday was OK.. he slept for about an hour and my assistant was able to carry him around (and a bunch of pts) for anotehr hr, then I fed (everyone had to just wait!) luckily he was not fussy much.. he was having a pretty good day. still I was wiped out when I got home at 7:30.. have another 1/ 2 day to work tomorrow and prob 1/2 days on wed until I go back the week of xmas... yesterday I was in from 8:30 to noon and again from 5 until 7:30 so it was not a full full day.. managed to cram 22 patients in there amongst the BF and such... not too bad a day... DH is out of town wed thru fri I will prob lose my mind..

OMG, Laura! That's a lot of patients! How is the adjusting going? I know you are probably still physically healing from the birth and I can't imagine that a side posture adj. especially could be too comfortable for you right now :
It sounds like you are managing well, though, all things considered! What happened with your fill in guy that you have to go in *again* before your 6 wks is up?! : Is he really sick or just flaky?

I think she is actually sick, I saw her B4 she left on Fri and she looked like He!!.. but still... frustrating.. have been getting a lot of complaints anyway.. not bad per se just ineffective KWIM?.. I do a lot of manipulation and she likes to use the autoadjustor (she brought it with her0 I told her OK to use but thought she would manip everyone I manip (duly noted on cards) and only use autoadj on my low/ non force pts but evidently she is using it on everyone.. *sigh*...

side posture was a bit sore on the nether regions but not too bad...

I do stay really busy since I cut down to my three day week schedule.. I run on average 35 pt visits a day from 9-1 and 3-7 (which in reality is 8:30-1:30 and 2:30 to 7:30 plus...) most pts get two therapies plus an adjust , usually, interferential and traction (DTS).plus ice and or heat.. I don't have anyone but my front desk and she is out fairly often! I fly around my little 900 sq foot office, let me tell you!

I am handling it , this is MUCH better than after Evan when DH was a stay at home and I went back after 2 wks (still with stitches!!) but with 100% of the $ burden on me then I had to.. also Evan was SO SO SO SO much toughr than this LO.. Dean is not an easy baby but he is NOTHING like Evan,, so comparatively I am doing great and very happy and relaxed and things are good.....how is your little pumpkin??
