Thread For Those Of Us Waiting For Ppaf

Hi guys,
I'm not sure if this thread will take off but I need an area where I can relate to other moms who are also waiting for their ppaf...mine has been MIA for 18 months now and my ds has been weaned for 2 and a half months...I just thougth I might not be alone and there may be others out there who have waited and got it or are in the same boat as me and wondering what the f is goign on!!!! Vent here if you have got it back and don't want it....i think either way we might all be able to compare our symptoms!!!

I'm in! The Nursing Mamas TTC just doesn't do it for me since there's not much TTCing when there's no cycling...

I went 26 months with DD. Nightweaned at 17 mo. Weaned at 4.5 y.
DS is now 23 months and no PPAF in sight. Not nightweaned or weaned yet.

I have a very, very long phase of "trying" to O where I have EWCM and fertile CP every day for, oh, about a year. Impossible to chart!

I think we'd like one more. And I'd love to have a fall baby this time but I'm not holding my breath.

Anything's possible but I'm not sure you'd say that was ovulation following TCOYF rules. The coverline is usually drawn .1 degree over the highest of the preceding 6 temps. That would only give you one day over that coverline, which is not indicative of o. TCOYF says you need 3 temps over the coverline.

However, if your DD is weaned and everything, I think you're certainly in the game...

I think your probably right!!! well, one can still hope though..my question to you is did you manage to get pregnant with your second before your first ppaf? Did you have some spotting the first time it came back...????? How frustrating is it when your holding on to the hope that maybe you'll be able to catch the first egg...on one hand you know the odds are low and on the other there's a side of you that thinks maybe it could happen( the obsessive side in my case!!!)

I bought cheapie online OPKs by the gross and started taking them when DD was about 23 months old. I know I ovulated before my first PPAF, had one period, then got pg from the second ovulation when DD was 27 months old and still nursing strong all day.

Ha! No. I'd be surprised if anything happens before spring, honestly.

I'll probably get pregnant April 15th. (DD was 4/17 and DS was 4/16 just coincidentally).
