My DH is so funny!

Well, we were discussion HB and I told him we'd rent a birthing tub. I asked him if he'd sit in it w/ me and he told me no. I was upset and have been buging him about it. Well, I found a pic and showed him this is what I'm talking about... He looked at me and said "No way I am sitting in a tub w/ you naked with other people around!!" I lost it! I informed him the men had on trunks and that he would NOT be naked!! He is too funny

Mine refused to get in the tub too...for more or less the same reasons

I asked my DH expecting the "Ewww no" response and was surprised to find he wanted to be in there AND catch the baby. It was a pleasant surprise!

wow lucky ladies! my dh is freaked by the "dirty" water when the baby is born. he may change his mind in the moment, but i'm not holding my breath. on second thought, maybe this IS part of his hesitation, maybe i should address it just in case!

I think my DH said something similar about being naked in front of people when I asked if he'd join me in the shower if I needed him to.. silly man.

When I mentioned that he might want to join me in the birthing pool (in our pre-labor planning days) DH immediately said, not if I have to be naked.

LOL.

I assured him swim trunks were fine. (He did spend some time with me in the pool, with swim trunks on - and in fact never changed or added more clothes even hours after he got out. Our photos of our minutes-old daughter show in still in his trunks).

I'm hoping the water part and delivery won't scare him b/c he has delivered so many pigs, sheep, and pigs. I am almost 100% sure when it comes time he will want to assist in pulling our LO out Oh, he will be aiding his grandpa in the delivery of our goats in a few weeks too,

And to be honest, I would not be able to concentrate if he was in their w/ me naked!!

I get mad when DH crosses the livingroom in a towel (only because we're living with my parents!) so to have him naked in front of a bunch of other people would be too much for me to deal with lol
