I've finally fattened up Mr. Chicken Legs enough to fit the size 0 Kissaluvs, but now I think he's producing too much waste to use them. He has peed right through them 3 times now, and it's wet in the front not the sides, so I don't think it's leaking through the sides.

They were new, so repelling shouldn't be a problem.

Is anybody using Kissaluvs? If so, what size and how much does your baby weigh?

I have some FB too, but I think we're going to run into the same problem. By the time he fits in the smalls, he'll be peeing too much to use them.

we are using kl0s on our babe, and have been since day 1. she was 7lb6oz at birth, went down to 7lb3oz 2 days after her birth, and was up 7lb9oz 4 days after her birth...haven't had her weighed since, but she is clearly growing like a weed. (actually we did have her weighed at a ped visit, but the different scale registered her at 8lb9oz only 6days after she weighed at 7lb9oz and that would be totally insane, so i don't trust it.)

we are loving the kl0s and i think they will continue working for a while. my only concern is they do seem to pinch her little thighs a bit and i don't really know why.

You're using a cover, right? We've had no leaks using a Mother-Ease or Bummis cover.

But I am really disappointed in the Kissaluvs. They leave lots of red areas, soak easily and leave a prickly rash on him if he's sleeping in a wet dipe. So because of that and he's getting big, I am stripping the 0s and will try to sell them off. I have 3 K1s to use that seem to hold pee better, but I still worry about rash.

I switched to Fuzzi Buns and the only time he's leaked is with the size XS. The smalls are perfect and no leaks. He's on the tightest snaps, so who knows what will happen later. At night I double stuff.

Just use more inserts. They might not fit quite the same, but you shouldn't have any leaks...

We are using kissaluv 0 newborn since day 2 (home from hospital) she was 8 pd 4 oz at birth with toothpick legs and then 7 pd 11 oz and they have not leaked at all. They are wet in front though-but I thought that was normal. She is a little red, but not rashy. Over all we are pretty happy with the newborn diaper. The issue we are having is we can't seem to figure out which detergent to use. I can't remove the funky fishy smell to save my life. I need to pick up some sport wash and strip them.

I bought two of these and I really like them.

I used the size 0's with ds1 who was 7lb2oz and I remember loving them. With ds2 who is 9lb1oz, they aren't working as well. He just completely soaks them. They don't leak but they get really soaked pretty fast. We're starting to switch over to our small fuzzibunz even though they're a little big.

How often do you all change the Kissaluvs generally? I guess I don't change them often enough and he's getting rashy. But if he's sleeping and wets.. not sure what else I can do.

Heh, that's probably why they're the only ones that fit James. Curse DH and his skinny leg genes!

Thanks for the tips. I didn't think about double stuffing the FB - I'll have to give that a try once he fits into them.

I only bought a few of different types of diapers, so I'm not out a lot if I can't use the kls. They just looked so cute that I wanted them to work!
