He is wearing shoes, wow, a really grown up man!

He's a cutie, Gina! Love the family photo too.

His face seems to have really thinned out over the last 2 weeks. He looks so different from his newborn pictures. Maybe it's just that his eyes are so much more open now. Hmmm...he's quite handsome though! I LOVE his hair!

Yes, Ivanhoe, those ridiculous bear slippers that match the ridiculous Christmas outfit Mom wanted to be SURE we got photos in that outfit to butter up the MIL.

Alisha, he seems to have decided it's okay to open up. Now if only he'd open his mouth as wide to latch!

Oh, and hubby reminded me that he was quite swollen the first few days (you can see the crease above his nose in the first photos that's almost completely gone now) and the swelling has gone away. Makes a huge difference!

I can't believe or understand why his face was so swollen and bruised. I think it was the malposition from the SPD thingy (that symphis pubis something or other) and that's also why I felt fear and unusual pain when he was coming down the birth canal. I think he was coming down weird or something.

All your boys are so gorgeous!

pictures were adorable. I love that your tree ornaments are binkies and Oriental Trading CO crafts.

I love that your tree topper is a reindeer puppet.

We use a Barbie. She's currently wearing a lovely gown of tissue paper, the kids worked very hard on it.

And I love the whole Lachness and Momster thing. You must be a wonderful mommy.

Our tree has a few bulbs and ornaments, but is mostly kid stuff and baby memories... glittered pinecones and foam crafts, photos and baby shoes and binkies and mittens from my kids when they were babies. Oh and a couple of first birthday candles. I love it.

Funny that we've morphed but this stuff still gets hung. Like I don't give a paci unless I HAVE to and if baby has shoes, they're the soft soled leather ones now. But I still love all the memories.

And that's our moose puppet that comes out once a year. My husband puts him on and does this crazy moose voice where he's all hyper and excited and runs around the house licking the boys and talking about getting the tree up the behind again. The boys love it.

We're a weird family.

Love the pix Gina and you have such a great name for you and him - Lachness and Momster - that I am tempted to change Silas' name to Lachlan so we can copy you up here.

Sheal, I was a little embarassed to write that, but then again, I know our family is bonkers.

Edwina, you're too cute!! To think Lach almost was a Nolan. (Or almost named Cheddar, but we won't talk about that!)

I was thinking about that this morning.. Lachlan (and Lachness) just fits him so well already!

And PS: I am going to try and get one of those vanity plates for my van that says Momster or a variation of it. But *sigh* Momster and a ton of combinations are taken like Mom5ter, Momst3r, etc.. I am going to try again today. It's like the ONE thing I want for Christmas!!
