ok. is there such a pacifier where babies might not suck in so much air compared to others? i'm thinking sheamas is getting too much air and causing his gassiness and discomfort from this gerber one he has...it is a bulbous shape not those orthodontic shaped ones...

i did not want to even give him a paci but i can't be nursing and letting him suck on my pinky all the time he wants to suck. i don't know what else i can do but give him a paci to suckle... megh needs me too... hmmm.

I dunno, Lis. I have a feeling he's gassy because of something you're eating or just becase. My other kids always had pacis and were fine. Lachlan has no paci and is gassy and miserable as can be. If I were you, I would just do what you need to do and give him the paci. Have you tried the Cocyntal?

hmmm our boys sound sensitive. i haven't been eating the greatest...my appetite sucks for the most part. i just eat crackers and cheese...actually, i eat a LOT of cheese and a LOT of yogurt. maybe that is it? i haven't been eating enough veggies or fruits.......way too much stuff that plugs me up and could create gas...hmmm.

we use the gripe water...seems to really help. i do have the otehr stuff too.
