my friend who lives in PA saw it and told me all about it, and yes, it says what you think it says.

nyc has a similar campaign, and there are billboards all over...but only in poorer/immigrant neighborhoods. i find that shit so offensive.

How irritating. Interestingly, the staff at the hosp where I had Gabe were supportive of co-sleeping. I thought that went against current AAP recommendations? Huh. Guess not all medical professionals are stupid.

Nope, haven't seen it...but we didn't set up our tv until last night and aren't big tv watchers anyway. We moved 9 months ago and last night DH just *had* to see the Ravens/Patriots game, so the tv came up from the basement. I'm shocked at how many pp are anti-cosleeping when like 90% of the rest of the world co-sleeps! I tell these people to read Our Babies, Ourselves

here in central oregon at the 2 local hospitals i was 'allowed' to sleep w/ both of my babies in the tiny little hospital beds w/ all sorts of requested pillows all around us. i have not seen this PSA and oh god i don't care to. that would piss me off to the max. i can't imagine not sleeping w/ my babies...it is one of the best things in this life.
