In the throes...

Well, we're wrapping up day 3...and I am happy but feeling a bit wrecked!

My sacred babymoon space is covered in crumbs and toys and laundry and dishes and diapers...

The girls are getting a bit of cabin fever...but, every time we've arranged a ride, etc for dd1 to one of her activities, at the last minute she's refused to leave. Right now, I'm being forced against my will to watch HP#1. And all of the subsequent cases are lined up in order next to the DVD player.:

I think my milk has started to come in...but I can't be sure because 2 babies are draining my breasts around the clock! I'm pretty sure I'm hearing swallowing...

Our ped came to the house today for Olorun's check-up. That was really fun. She's an amazing person. Baby is such a little kitten...doing really well. Except at night...he's having a little trouble getting organized between 11pm-4am. Just gets really frantic at the breast and we both end up crying. Dh has been wonderful, though.

We're treating my clot with simple aspirin and I think it's gone. The aspirin is making me bleed a bit more.

Honestly, I'm doing great...just sooo tired and a bit sore. All those muscles that get used for pushing that we don't even know we have! I only had a tiny little abrasion this time, though...woohoo! No stitches at all and it's an amazing difference!

Ack! Dd2 is snuggling the baby so I've got to run! I'll try to get my birth story written out soon.

Love to you all!

No kidding! With all the concerns about the perineum, etc. I sort of forgot about the workout the rest of my body was getting until two days later when the muscles got sore.

Thanks for the update and glad to hear you are doing well!

hugs! hugs! hugs!

i'm 8 days PP and boy am i feeling these stitches! i had a 3rd degree tear and this is very different as last time i was dealing w/ c-sec stitches/recovery. i'm just so friggin' proud of myself and sheamas for doing our VBAC!!!

this is very different too, having megh here on top of newborn...but you know she's doing really well w/ all of this and i can see she really loves her brother immenseley. my mom is going to take her to the hot tub now which is great cuz it makes megh so happy...makes me a little sad though as i always was the one to go w/ her and it was our thing. : i can't wait for my body to heal, stop bleeding and i can go in w/ her again.

my bed has cracker and sandwich crumbs in it, breastmilk leak spots galore, laundry piles............sheamas pee leak on the comforter.........i don't mind........isn't it nice to knowhow many of us are living our daily lives so similarly?! it gives me comfort for sure...

Empathy, that's what I feel!

Crumbs, and toys and piles of laundry and pee and breastmilk everywhere... that's how new moms homes are decorated
