My DD2 has super strength. Seriously. She was able to lift her head off my chest the day she was born. Yesterday we had her on her tummy for tummy time and she lifted her head off the blanket and turned it to face the other direction. She was 6 days old. Today she rolled from her back to her side several times. Seriously its so freaky.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

My mom could NOT stop talking about how strong Lach is. My nephew apparently is JUST lifting his head at 4 months old. I keep reminding her that he had a VERY traumatic birth and first week and his mama is very careful.
Here are a couple of photos where he's holding his head up.

All my kids have been pretty strong as far as I can remember!

Yeah, I noticed your pix Gina and was impressed with Lach's neck strength in those.
Googy - sounds like your little girl is also good in the neck control dept.
I think we're doing OK over here, but certainly nothing like that. I did notice that on the one occasion (oops! should it be more?) that I've put him on his tummy, he did manage to move his head from one side to the other and it seems to me that DD took FOREVER to do that.

We have another member of the Justice League (or should it be Legion of Doom?) over here. I'm feeling a little let down that I didn't get a newborn that would give me a little while to practice changing diapers without him trying to roll off the changing table.
I had signed up for one of those weekly pregnancy emails and they're now doing baby milestones. This week's told me that "soon your baby will be able to pick his head up"
When I have him tummy to tummy as I'm sitting in a chair, he is even trying to push off with his feet - my mom joked that next time she visits she expects him to walk over to the door and let her in.

I have a photo of my oldest holding Lach on the couch, tummy to tummy and Lach's bearing weight on his legs. He was in that position for quite a while! Taylor was leaning back a bit and supporting Lach, but I was still surprised.
