Hello All,
This is a FABULOUS resource for birthing educators.
I've been to 2 of it's screenings and it literally gets better each time I see it!
CUT, a documentary film by a young Jewish filmmaker cuts through all the myths surrounding circumcision. I plan to show sections of the film to my birthing class and send home the DVD with my Jewish couples.
You can watch a trailer of the fim on the website and purchase the DVD.
It is only $25 (+shipping and handling).
Here is the info from the website:
Cut is a new documentary film by Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon which examines the subject of male circumcision from a religious, scientific and ethical perspective. Using cutting-edge research, in addition to interview footage of rabbis, philosophers, and scientists, Cut challenges the viewer to confront their biases by asking difficult questions about this long-standing practice.
