I have been doing some research here in the writers forum and on google to try to determine what is acceptable for writer compensation.
In what case do you feel that notoriety or "adding to your resume" or the experience is adequate compensation?
Would you blog in exchange for back links and/or promotion of your site if you have one...if you don't have one - what would you feel was a fair exchange?
If you blog for a blog network...how are you paid...is it by post or a flat rate?
I know that ghost/article writers are often paid a flat rate or by word count...but what about blog writers or paid forum posters?
Whether you have first hand experience or not...I welcome your input.
