Regular ol' fleece

I have some regular fleece that you buy from Joann. Any suggestions of what I could use it for? Does it have waterproof and/or wicking properties? Could it be used to make inserts? And if so with what other materials. Thanks!

Definitely not inserts as it doesn't absorb. And not inners because you need microfleece to wick. I've heard of mamas using it for covers, but I've never tried it myself.

I have actually used as training pants a nd against the babys skin since it is so soft. I do pockets and fitteds and they have worked. you just need a GREAT insert. .like microfiber. But microfiber against the skin dries my dd's skin out BAD! =)

I have used it to make pants to wear over diapers with a cover-just a little added protection. I have a super easy two piece pants pattern that sews up fast and they work great.
