ok, so some good news.

Contracted all the way into town, got to the office, had to wait. Then he was going to only do the fetal fibronectin test. I told him I wanted him to either check my cervix or do a transvag because I didnt' want to wait for results, that I had to have a gameplan. Cervix looked the same.

Which is encouraging, except he did say that sometimes the cervix doesnt' change at all until right before labor. I should get the ffn results back tomorrow, and after that we're good. He said that basically it's like my body is majorly revving the engine, but not putting it in gear. That I'm contracting like I'm going into labor, but at this point (and this could change) it isn't changing my cervix any. Lucky me, huh? I asked him about bedrest, he said there hasn't been a lot of concrete proof that it actually helps. But my midwife agreed with me that obviously it helps
me which is really all that matters. So limited bedrest, but I can take care of dd. And no more terb! He said most women develop a resistance to it, and that it's not an overly effective drug anyway.

So good news so far. No pics of Ayla, he didn't check her. And I'm back with my midwife unless things change (or the ffn is + tomorrow)
Thank the gods!
