How to make the doll look like a boy not a girl?

My Waldorf doll is looking like a girl and he is supposed to be a boy! I have not done the hair yet, so I guess short hair will help, but I just think it looks like a girl!

Um, short hair, and short eyelashes (if any), smaller lips, etc.

But toddlers can be hard to tell boys from girls anyway. If you're making a toddler doll, it can be a boy if you want it to be one, no matter how "feminine" it appears to be.

: and clothes might help it look more boyish to you

The hair and clothes will probably do it. I don't know the age of the child you're making it for, but I am making a boy doll for my 3-yo and he is coming with a jeans outfit, a pirate outfit and a cowboy outfit - I hope ds is as excited about him as I am! (Without hair and clothes, this doll is a blue-eyed red-cheeked little beauty - could easily be a sweet girl doll!)

Hi, thanks for the replies, I think just the clothes and short hair will make him a boy. My son, who is 3 saw it and complained that it was a girl and he wanted a boy! We'll see, I'll post pictures when I am done.

Maybe you need to give the doll a penis? :

Yeah, I have actually thought of that, and I figure I can always add one if ds thinks the doll needs one.
