Velour ?

I have been looking for velour for a waldorf doll. I have only been able to find cotton with poly backing for stability. Does all cotton velour exist? And have any of you used true velvet? How does it work?

I'm not sure if you can find all cotton velour. I think even Joy's and DRD sell blends (80% cotton I think) Joann's sells velour with the same fiber content I believe.

You can get 100% cotton velour at www.nearseanaturals.com. It is organic though so it is pretty expensive. And it is only in a natural off white color (although personally I think that would be really lovely). You could also try ebay, I have seen hard to find fabrics there from time to time.

How much do you need, and when? I have some 100% cotton, natural colored velour from a coop. I could spare a little if you can't get it anywhere else, but am very busy with Christmas stuff.
