Need some good thoughts today! -update #10

I know a while back I talked how my dad was diagnosed with prostrate cancer...today's the big day - he's in surgery now having it out. I so want to be there with my mom, but a 4 year old and a newborn in a hospital waiting room doesn't sound like a good idea. Poor mom is there alone - all of my brothers and sisters live out of state.

Even though I know things will be fine, any kind of surgery makes me nervous. But, he's relatively young, in fairly good shape, and besides this, really has no medical problems.

Please think some good thoughts for him today!

Well, he's out of surgery! My mom said things went well, and they are hoping to have him up and walking tonight sometime (most likely will be in the hosp til Sat) and will come home with a visiting nurse as he will have a cath in til late next week sometime (eek - just learned this part tonight - poor guy, no wonder why he doesnt want to talk about it with me!)
