Aldria that is...

She's had this cold so I took her to the dr on Monday. She's up to 11lbs 6oz already! :

I'm gonna see if I can sweet talk my midwife's nurse into letting me run back to the baby scale and weighing her again at my 6 week pp check up. She's growing so quickly!!

She's gained 4lbs 3 oz since birth!

I don't get why the family practitioner (my husband's doc) and the Ped were so happy with 6oz in 2 weeks. :

I keep hearing about these other super babies packing on a pound a week..

A testimony to mama's milk!! What size is she wearing now? Are you able to keep up with her clothing and diaper needs?

She's still in 0-3 months, I'm probably going to have to switch her to 3-6 any day now...she hasn't gained much for length so her sleepers and gowns still fit her pretty well. Thankfully I hit TONS of garage sales this summer so I'm stocked up to a year. I'm gonna toss in a few 3-6 month things when I do her laundry this afternoon and see how they fit her (they are all in totes, I haven't washed them yet)

We're doing disposable diapers (apt living, my LL doesn't want me washing cloth in his washer) and she's still in size 1.

James was pretty big newborn. I think he was just over 12lbs at his 2 month check up. : He was born at 7lbs 3oz and was up to his birthweight (exactly) at 3 days after we left the hospital. But he lost more weight than she did. She only got down to 6lbs 14oz at discharge, James got down to 6lbs 8oz at discharge.

I think DH and I just make huge newborns. They grow SOOO quickly for the first 12 months and then stop. LOL. James was 24lbs at 1 year and I think he's only gained 4lbs since then. He doubled his birth weight at like 3 or 4 months, tripled by 9 months. All Ebf'ed, he was exclusive breastfed until 14 or 15 months.

That's awesome! High butterfat in that milk, eh?

0-3, wow!!!

We're in 0-3 at 9.5 pounds but moving into 3-6. Depends on the brands. Old Navy, Gap, Osh Kosh seem to run large. Carters is still good. But I've put away all 0-3 month Gerber brand.

But I guess that's because he's tall-ish. How long is Aldria?

My oldest and my third (maybe even my second son) were wearing 6-9 months at 12 pounds. They were tall, tall, tall!

Well, I think you all may have answered the question I posted regarding sizes... I can't wait till Mairaed is 11 lb. She is in the 7's still and is showing no sign of EVER getting into her 0-3 month clothes... I have an adorable outfit for her holiday picture but it is so huge on her.

She is eating approx 12 times a day, about 4 oz per feeding so I think she will be packing on the pounds soon....

And I thought Piper was huge. She's gone from 8 lb 2 oz. to 9 lb. 14 oz. in 3 weeks!!! Just went to the dr. today. She will be moving into her 3-6 month stuff soon, and size small diapers in the next few weeks. Right now she can wear both newborn and small diapers.

We're moved to small dipes because he was soaking the newborns too quickly and leaking -- even though they still fit! Plus the Kissaluv 0s give him a rash when he is so wet.

We went to Delilah's 2 1/2 week ped appointment today and she's at 11 lbs and 22.5 in. Up from her 9 lb 3 oz and 22 in birth weight. She still fits in her 0-3 month clothes and KL0s fine though. Maybe because she's so slim?

LOL, spoke too soon! I just put a Gerber 0-3 month onsie and while it fits, it's skin tight on her.

I'll probably wash her 3-6 month stuff. I'm hoping it'll hold till next week sometime...it's prolly 2 loads and I don't wanna use all our quarters. I can get to my moms next week, not this weekend though, we just got 5 inches of snow.

that is just great!!! what beautiful big healthy babes we all have...megh was always 'off the charts' so to speak as far as the pedi's assessments went...her weight always went up up up... MW is concerned for sheamas but i think he's just fine. last monday he was like 9.14 or so...his birthweight was 10.7, 10 days ago. i'm not too concerned...

i'm glad to also find out i DO have a 2 wk appt w/ the OB who delivered sheamas in the hospital...i thought i only had a 6 wk appt, and MW and i thought that was absolutely horrible. so that is a relief. the pedi doesn't seem worried about my big guy though.

Fin has an appt tomorrow. He is five weeks. Weighing him here at home we get 13+ pounds, so I am curious what he is on their scale. He is at 24 inches now and about to outgrow his 3-6 month clothes. I can't believe how fast he is growing!

WOW! Cora is still such a peanut......6 weeks and 2 days and all her 3-6 mos clothes are still baggy....I wont take her to the ped for another 3 weeks or so....I am guessing she is right at 8 lbs maybe.....

My DS was born on Nov. 1. I weighted myself and them him. I think he is 12 lbs plus 2 or 3 ozs. He was 7 lbs 8 oz at birth. He is big also. I am amazed. My first son was tiny. They are the same breasts. How come my new baby is a monster eater and is only nursing every 4 hrs and fights eating while my first son ate 24 hrs a day and barely grew and is still tiny tiny!

You all are making me want to weigh my baby to see how big she is. She's got to be over 8 lbs now. I know she has grown like 2-3 inches since she was born a month ago and is about to outgrow her 0-3 month stuff due to long legs.
