Have you ever heard or seen how some breech babies will lay with their legs by their ears for a month or two post birth?
Well my bro's baby born this summer had that purple arm at birth because it was pinned behind his head so long -- and he held it up there for a month or two.
Now Lach's doing the same. He was ALWAYS head down from the moment I could feel him in utero. My midwives always said he was facing right but I felt fingers on the left. I thought either they're wrong or he's a contortionist.
Well apparently it's the latter. When he lays on me, he often puts his arms bent behind his head... elbows at his ears and hands out behind his head. It's so weird!
