Can anyone help me figure out what is going on? X-post from H&H

I have been pregnant and or breastfeeding for the last four years. I haven't had a period since 2004.

My youngest nursling is 13 months now.

Last night I had a small amount of vaginal bleeding. I thought that it was my period returning. I even went out and bought some pads thinking I needed to have something in the house for when it got heavier.

Today I woke up and there isn't a sign of anymore bleeding at all. I am completely confused. Could it be that my body is just taking a bit to get aunt flo going?

My body kindof sputtered back into normal cycles after DS2, sometimes just a little spotting, sometimes longer AFs, and my cycles were irregular in length, too. So yeah, this could be a return to AF for you as your body gets back into your normal non-pg cycles, but isn't quite there yet.
