Anyone already feeling the braxton hicks contractions?

I don't recall feeling the BH in prev pg till like after 20wks but I definitely am feeling them lately
Only like once a day or so I'll really notice one.
I thought it was all in my head till a couple nights ago I felt that tightening and just happened to be walking by my bathroom mirror getting ready for bed and about got whiplash jerking around for a second glance
My belly was almost sticking out in a point! (I just have a small pooch right now so it was very noticable and drastic

It's not painful at all...
Just a sensation

Anyway just wandered if I was all alone

Yep, every day! And I have been for several weeks. With subsequent children, you not only feel them sooner, but you recognize them sooner, too.

I have definitely been feeling them. I know you can feel them earlier in subsequent pregnancies but I didn't anticipate them this early.

I have felt them starting at 9w or earlier for the last two pg'cies so definitely felt them for a while. Esp. if I lay on my back (esp. this time, baby doesn't like me on my back at all). I always get a lot though.

Thanks for the response girls:

Glad to know it's pretty normal in subsequent pgs to feel it this early

I get them whenever DH is driving the car. For me, any stressful situation brings them on.

I started feeling them this week, too. DH is worried, but I reminded him
a) I felt them at 16 weeks with Rachel
b) my uterus is bigger than 14 weeks

I read somewhere that you feel them earlier in subsequent PGs, because you are more aware of what they are.

I have only felt one....after some couple time with dp.

I think I'm feeling them - mostly at night as I'm trying to fall asleep. I'll just have this...feeling...and it occurred to me the other day that maybe that's what they were. With DD I got them at 24 weeks. With DS, at 17. I guess I'm just noticing it more? Probably less muscle holding it in, so it has farther to contract? Woops!

I've felt them a few times, after sex, and after I fell on that box. Both times worried me but I'm glad its normal to feel them early.

I started feeling then around 14w, especially after sex. I feel like my uterus is going to push DH off of me.

Oh my, I laughed so hard at that...

Riding with my DH driving is a, ahem, "stressful" situation, too! He generally feels comfortable getting really close to the cars in front before he brakes or changes lanes. I'm a much more careful driver, so I would never get so close. Plus, my reflexes are better than his, so I'm already pushing the "imaginary brake" almost a full second or two before he starts using the real one.... Riding with him is like going on a looong roller coaster ride, one small woosh of adrenaline after another!

Sorry to hijack, returning to regularly scheduled convo now....

YES.....I have had more cramping and more BH this pregnancy. Much earlier too.

Yup, I feel a couple a day, at least. They don't hurt and I know that it is good practice, but at the same time, I don't think my uterus needs anymore practice!! I had a fast labor with dd and I don't want a faster one with this little bean.

Does it technically "count" as BH ctx after sex? I always assumed those were considered different, but now I"m looking at the official definition, and I guess that after-sex ctx count as BH contractions. Who knew? That's the only time I'm feeling them.
