do fleece covers get stinky?

So up till now I have only used PUL covers but I have a bunch of fleece and would love to make some covers out of it. With PUL I can wipe it off on the inside if it gets a little wet and keep using it untill its gets dirty on the fabiric part, so my question with fleece is: doesn't it get stinky after just one use? I wouldn't think you couldn't use it more than once without washing it unlike PUL . Am I wrong? (I hope)

You can use it more than once. I had a fe wthat I would use all day and worked great. I would rince in sink at the end and they dry so fast they would be ready the next day. There is a big difference though in the fabric brands. I think Malden Mills powder dry is the best but I have also had two layer 200 wt fleece that preformed just as well.
