More mommy milk weight gain!

Lach gained 6oz the first two weeks (I assume he lost weight, then gained) and in the last week he's gained another 11oz!! Wow! It amazes me that a baby can gain well over an ounce a day like that...

So he's 9lbs 13oz now (up from 8lbs 12oz)

He was all about stuffing himself for weeks and it's like today he's finally resting -- but of course now I am engorged. I kind of want to pump and freeze the extra but have no pump kit for this pump yet... and I don't think my sore nipples would like me...

Wow- thats great weight gain!
Rachel had her 2 week visit yesterday, and she's gained 12 oz just in the last week on nothing but pure mama milk. She eats like a little piggy!

Hmm, Conrad has been a little slower to put on weight... he is up 6 oz from his birth weight. He lost over a pound and has put on 11 ounces in the last 16 days... so more than the minimum half ounce a day. I'm hoping his weight gain will pick up once we get the thrush under control.

Yay for well eating babes. Ronin gained a whole lb in 9 days! My guess is that he met his brother and realized he'd better beef up!

Good work Gina!!! Piper is trying really hard to catch up with Lachlan. She went from 8 lb 2 oz. to 9 lb. 12 oz. this past Thursday (just over 3 weeks!) I'm pretty thrilled since I struggled with low milk supply issues with my other two and even had to be on medicine with dd2. This time, I've had only 2 cups of milkmaid tea. This is all mama's milk!
