Check in: Mamas who used to post and now just lurk

I know that since Ronin is born I just read all posts and just can't nak that well to respond. And since he's always eating, well...
Anyhow, thought we could all check in. I feel like I'm missing so much now with you all. But I know a lot of us are in the same boat.
Thinking of all you beautiful mamas and you're wonderful babes as we make our way though December (can you believe it?).

I am lucky to be able to post a lot still because I have a laptop so I curl up on the couch and type while he's eating .And while I normally use my left hand to help type, I am also a fairly fast typist with just my right hand due to years of practice. I had shoulder dystocia when I was born - resulting in Erbs Palsy so I have learned to compensate and use my right arm/hand more.

I do miss a lot of you!!

That'd be me! I read when I can (usually only a handful here and there) but rarely have time to post. I'm here though!

me too! all day long I think of things I'd love to post or reply and then I'm too spacy by the time the kids are all asleep, so I just read...

Yo, lucky to be able to even breeze through the titles lately!

Doing well though

I miss a lot of you mamas, too!

I don't know how I manage to post. During naptimes, I guess. Or if one is nursing and one is sleeping (which is rare since they're pretty much on the same schedule!)

Gina, that's me! I lay on my bed, get Piper latched on, set the laptop next to Piper and type one handed while I nurse. I prefer to type two-handed, but I can do pretty well one-handed.

I'm here sometimes, scanning titles like LittleLlama. Miss you guys but we're super-stressed and tired here. DD is intolerant of dairy proteins in my milk and has been sick with crazy colic and reflux. I quit dairy a week ago but she's on special soy formula while the dairy works its way out of my system and my damaged nipples heal. I'm still pumping every 3 hours around the clock. Ugh. Can't wait til this gets easier and my babe and I can enjoy each other.

That's me! haven't gotten naking down yet
post #11 of 19
Yup. I still try to check in and scan titles but I rarely get to post before bedtime. I'm catching a minute now while Silas sleeps in the pouch and DH is doing a puzzle with DD .

I'm still here! Busy with all of my babies and I have been organizing some hyena cart raffles etc.....its adjustment now that dh is on 3rd shift. Miss ya'll too!

Lately I feel lucky if I get time to lurk! Ds1 is having a hard time adjusting to his brother and thats taking a lot of my time. Plus dh has been home the last week and half and we seem to fight over the computer when there is a minute free

Me too! Some days I am not here at all. The days I am here I browse but don't respond as much. I am not so good at NAK.

I check in from time to time, but spend most days enjoying and carung for my kittke one--and getting what work done that I can...

Still around, just lurking though mostly! I've been back at work since week 2, so when I come home, all I wanna do is hold my sweetness! I try to type while I'm holding him sometimes, but he doesn't usually go for that.
I do try to scan the titles and reply to some things, but my time is so limited. I do love the new smilies, though. Neat! I think : is my favorite.

I've been lurking for the past three weeks for the most part trying to adjust to everything. I know I still have yet to post the birth story, but I'm still processing a few things and want to make sure I get everything.

I'm still around. December is a busy time for us - 2 b-days, Advent, and Christmas, and all the church stuff in between. Add in a newborn, and recovery from a nasty (can I repeat NASTY) stomach bug, and I'm doing good to just lurk these days! But I and miss you all!
