I have no idea what is going on here. For the past few weeks (DS is five weeks, and it started maybe two weeks after his birth) my arm falls asleep ALL THE TIME at night as I am sleeping. I sleep on my left side, with my left hand under the pillow and my right hand resting on my right hip and leg. Now, I would think it would be my left hand if any that would fall asleep as that is the one that is all contorted, but its not, it's my RIGHT hand. And it's bad, so bad it wakes me and sometimes takes hours to feel normal again. Today it actually still aches and feels funny. Now, I have always slept this way (for the past 4.5 years at least since DS was born and we co-sleep) and it has never bothered me. Wondering if birthing did something with a nerve or something. It does tend to feel better if i roll to my back, but I did that last night and still had it happen, though to a lesser degree. I am right handed, but it doesn't seem to me like carpel tunnel or anything and only happens when I am sleeping. Just wondering if maybe an adjustment would help (I haven't been to my chiro in ages as he divorced and closed his business and I have not been able to find a replacement yet). Anyone have any thoughts or BTDT? Thanks!!!
