i have just started checking out the postings here because dh and i are thinking of trying to concieve this spring. i am incredibly thankful already for all of the information, opinions, and thoughts that you have shared on this site, and there is so much of it that i felt very overwhelmed at first.
i am just trying to learn everything i can about everything related to pre-pregnancy health, pregnancy and natural childbirth. i just found out that the ob/gyn that i have been seeing for 6 years doesn't do obstetrics anymore, which is fine because i am more interested in trying to find a midwife in the area. i'm not quite sure where to start though, and it seems pretty impersonal to just start google-ing, so if any of you mommas live in my neck of the woods i would love any feedback or suggestions from your experiences.
