Where does one find a pattern for these? Also how are the eyes made? My Ds has one blue eye and one brown eye and I wan't to make him a doll that looks like him.

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I got mine from Magic Cabin Dolls and I found it easy to use, with very detailed instructions. I especially like that it comes with patterns for clothes.
Others here are more experienced dollmakers and may have other suggestions.

I got my first patterns from Magic Cabin, too - they are very easy to follow. I make my own patterns now - too bad I don't have any ready!
I think, if I were a first-timer, I'd go ahead & get a Magic Cabin kit - you really can't beat the price, unless you go with another WAHM company, but I don't know of any offhand.
The eyes are just embroidered on with ordinary cotton embroidery floss, so you can very easily make 2 different color eyes! My kids have unusual colored eyes (an odd hazel-green), so it's nice to be able to make a matching doll if I want!
