Is there any nameless babies still?

Our little girl, is still nameless.

Not even a thought of a name.

When i was PG with both my boys, we had names right away.

Before i ever had kids i used to think the people that didn't choose a name for their kids before they were born, were CRAZY...

and now i'm in that boat.

She'll be 'baby sister' forever i guess..

Nameless here too.

The bad part is.... I'm not even sure there are any names I even LIKE!

no name here. we haven't even discussed it. i'm due the same day as well, lol. my dh gets back from deployment this month, so hopefully we'll be able to decide before she's here. i have a HUGE list of boy names, though. :/

with dd we had a name when i was like 6mo pregnant.

with ds we didn't even discuss it until 2d before he was born, lol.

We got tired of saying 'It,' so now we have "Kid A". We have a list, but can't agree. Looking at using old family names as first name. We didn't do much better naming pets...

We haven't decided on any names yet, either. I'm not in any hurry - if baby doesn't get named for a couple of days after birth, it's not the end of the world. We have 30 days to register a name here in BC - after that they charge you money...

Yeah, we have a couple of possibilities and will probably wait until he's born to decide. It's HARD naming a kid!

Yeah, we don't have any names yet either but have some ideas that we've been throwing around. And I don't know if it's a boy or a girl. I figure that baby can just be called "baby" until something hits us. I feel like, though, the baby will name his or her self somehow. So I don't feel pressured.

My DH and I didn't name DD until she was 4 days old and we don't have a clue what we'll name this one. There are no names that really grab either one of us. He feels like he has to see the kid first and then decide. We do have lists for boys and girls, but can't totally agree on anything!

dp and i have never had any problems agreeing on boy names, but girl names are tough with us. and we don't find out gender until the baby is born. dd wasn't named until she was a couple of days old (and a few days after that i'd wished we'd waited, because after staring at her for days a name came to me strongly).

if we have a boy we're set, but if we have a girl it might be the same scenario.

No name here either. We have lists (don't know gender) but can't decide. We had the same problem with ds2 but after he was born I just knew his name was Sebastian. I'm hoping the same thing will happen this time! I really don't want my baby to be nameless for too long after birth.

We still don't have a girl name lined up.

We announced DD's name at our baby shower when I was ~7 months along. So we're a little behind. Unless it really is a boy. In which case he's had a name for almost 3 years!

We do have a girl name, but there's a big fat ? when it comes to boy names... I keep suggesting random names, but nothing really feels right.

Note to self - browse behindthename.com some more.

We've always had our names picked out early in each pregnancy. With our first baby, DS's name came to me in a dream at about 8 months pregnant, so his changed right then. With DD, we picked her name as soon as we found out the gender. This one we have a boy name picked out, but I don't want the girl name now. So now we are undecided on girl names.

Same here. This baby will be nameless for quite a while. People keep asking me and then looking at me like I'm nuts when I say that she doesn't have a name and there really aren't any prospects. We have a few more weeks, I'm sure we will figure it out. Hopefully I'll just know it when I hear it.

No name, no idea of gender. We've kicked around a few names but have had a hard time trying to find one that has as much meaning as Shekinah.
I'm partial to a couple but haven't really settled on any.

We have a list, but no definate names yet. Infact when we were in the hospital I took the baby name book to try to help us pass the time I think we'll have to wait until they are born to know for sure.

Our baby is still nameless. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet, but I doubt we'd have one picked out if we did!! DS1 had a name by 20 weeks. DS2 was a day old before he had a name (and we knew he was a boy from about 20 weeks on). I don't hold out any hope that we will agree on one before the baby comes.

I am due in 9 days and my baby does not have a name yet!

No name here also.....but for us it's on purpose. We like to see the baby and just wait for a name to come and it always does in the most amazing way! It's actually quite beautiful......
