What you linked to was a bunch of smilies, not just one and you said it was on the left side in the middle. This is the one I saw. I'm fairly certain no one was removing smilies. Just uploading new and resized smilies that have been requested over the last year. I and a few other members have busted our butts to get them. If there is a specific link to the smilie you are talking about (and not a link to a boat load... that kind of blinkage make my head spin. ) Then I can add it to the list of smilies to continue advocating for.

It's because the code for the We Adopted smilie was : weadopted : and that was in my first post that showed the adopted smilie. When I changed the code for that smilies to : adopted : the smilies in my first post changed to the big welcome smilies because the code for it is : we : and will grab the : we ... spotlight wherever it can. So I had to edit my post to reflect the new code for the adopted smilie to make it display.

The capital W is in the title only, not the code, so it should have no effect.

The capital W in code is this one:

I don't see this one : at all on the page I linked to.

The smilie that MCatLvrMom2A&X just posted was removed a long time ago, not during the most recent update of the smilies.

We greatly appreciate what you and others have done with the smilies.

I personally haven't been saying anything in this thread about the smilie MCatLvrMom2A&X just posted except that I remember it. I, myself, have implied neither that it shouldn't have been removed nor that I want it to be put back.

I was the person who sized that particular smilie down to the new the required size. I was not able to preserve the sign with the x through it and the smilie, there was not enough room. Would you prefer the sign alone, or the current smilie holding a sign that says "no circ" on it? FYI: I don't know if it will be added, but I also created one that says "intactivist", since I personally like saying the thing I'm advocating for and not the thing I am against. I'm waiting for that one myself

I love all the new smilies we have so far (thanks! ) but I really don't think the new "no circ" smiley is big enough and noticible enough. I like the other one a lot better. JMO.
