cold hands/ cold feet

I can't win! DD does not want to be swaddled anymore. She hates having her hands covered and cannot keep socks on her little feet. We have those mitten things that she immediately takes off her hands. Her gowns have hand cover cuff thingies built in but if I put those on her feet get cold... any ideas? Do they make sorta like little pants with feet on them? I can't fit her into a sleeper AND a gown at the same time to solve both problems at the same time.

Right now I have her on her boppy covered in a blanket but she keeps kicking it off so that isn't even helping. Do I need to invent a sleeper with hand AND feet covers? Or do they already exist? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You can expect hands and feet to be a wee cold, but yah, it's tough!! I have some socks that are white with a long calf/knee length that I can fold over and they stay on well! Mom got them at either Walmart or Burlington. Not sure what brand. They might be called triple roll socks like the first link.

My LO hates socks and mittens as well. I swear one night she threw a mitten at me while I was sleeping. She kicks off blankets left and right, so We've been sticking her in footed pjs to get her feet and giving up on her hands.

Your LO sounds alot like mine--- I can't help with the hands other than to say my LO has cold hands as well but if I swaddle him with arms out and add a baby hat/cap it solves the problem. Also, you may want to try babylegs http://www.babylegs.net/
I bought some socks from TCP http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp...atchallpartial
and I found these really stay on great!

I found at least 1 sleeper at BabiesRUs with the fold over mittens! It was Carter's brand...can't find the exact one any more on the site, but I bet they have more in slightly different styles. Worth a look anyway.
