Ahhh it all started as they were pulling Lachlan out of the water and onto my chest and I (all hyper-like) said, "DON'T TELL ME WHAT IT IS! DON'T TELL ME WHAT IT IS!"
And they all answered in chorus, "We won't!"
Well as I was enjoying my moment by breaking down into tears and holding him close, my fingers naturally held his bum and after a moment I realized (and there was no mistaking) a fleshy sac between his legs. Not sure I would know what a girl feels like, I definitely knew a boy!
Everyone who saw them in the first few days had a remark.
And BOY did he has a big scrotum! It struck me... until I remembered almost 12 years ago my oldest son had the same condition. So I asked the Ped at 2 weeks PP, and she agreed. Baby has Hydroceles. Anyone else?
Luckily no treatment needed and I think it's already resolving.
