A sitz bath is a shallow bath (either in the tub or you can buy a "sitz bath" that fits your toilet) for soaking a sore bottom. I took one every day for at least a week after ds was born...it felt so good to sit in warm water.

See, it's not nice and warm but it's also not icy, frigidly cold. Which, in our house it would be considering that it took a full 15 minutes for the water to warm up at the faucet. And postpartum, my bladder didn't have 15 minutes to wait.

You know... it's ALMOST worth getting one of those bottle-warmer gadgets, just for the peri bottle... or maybe a small crock pot.

I'm really putting WAAAAAAY too much thought into this, aren't I?
