I've been know to say that ("...in front of God and everybody...")- I think it's just an old saying! But, I agree that God put the milk there and had His very own Son nourished with that same milk and it didn't seem to bother Him then or now!

Good for you for going all the way to corporate. I doubt anyone will get fired- probably just have to suffer through some extra in-service stuff on breastfeeding and customer service :

I've done that a couple times No employee has ever said anything about it, I told them once...James spilled something all over himself and it was a nightmare and I had an extra shirt, but not pants, so I grabbed a pair off the rack, pulled the tag off, and put the jeans on them...stripped him right down in the store. An employee watched me do it and I told her I was going to pay for the pants, he just needed clothes that weren't filthy...she just laughed at me and said she'd done that at least 20 times over the years with her 4 kids.

Where in Iowa are you from? I am in Iowa City. I have nursed in the Walmart in IC and Coralville (once while walking around). I didn't get any comments but if it was one of these Walmarts I think I will make a point to nurse every time I go there.

I'm in south central Iowa. We were at the Altoona Wal-Mart.

I've nursed all over, and at our local WM, it's never been an issue. Just this one UA Violation decided to get her panties in a bunch...
