Just made my first longies!!!

I am so excited! Just made my first longies from the sleeves of a goodwill sweater (100% wool). The whole project cost me $3.50. I haven't lanolized yet b/c I need to get some (tried getting some at CVS tonight but they don't carry it). DS is sleeping and I'm not *quite* excited enough to wake him up to try them on him, but he'll be sporting them first thing in the AM, that's for sure! I can't believe how well they turned out. I'm very new to sewing (the only thing I've ever sewn before have been some pocket dipes I made last weekend). The longies look just like they're supposed to and appear to be sized just right (compared to his other pants). YAY!

EEK! You too? Congrats!

I used a 2 inch strip of lansinoh breast cream, a squirt of Dr. Bronner's soap, and some warm water (melted the lansinoh in a cup of very hot water) in the sink to lanolize.
