Cleaning a VERY ICKY Waldorf Doll

My son has the stomach flu, and woke up in a VERY nasty crib. He sleeps with his Waldorf Doll "buddy", who unfortunately smells pretty icky from being in a crib full of puke all night long with a sick toddler. He doesn't look like he got particularly covered in vomit, but was definately snuggled by an icky wet toddler.

I was wondering if any of the doll makers or more experienced mamas could give me a tip as to the best and fastest way to get my son's "buddy" clean and back on his feet? He's asking for him, and I hate to tell him he can't have his doll when he's sick and needs the comfort.

Sorry your little one is not feeling well. I hope he gets better, quickly.

You can just surface wash with a wet face cloth, for now. When your child feels a bit better and can stand to be away from his fiber friend, you can try this-

Here's directions for a more thorough cleaning from Joy's Waldorf Dolls. I'm doing it tonight!

Thanks! My son is feeling better, so we'll be giving that a try this evening as well.
