well, we decided to go to my parents for christmas this year, and we are having a sleeping dilema. we all co sleep and my parents have a queen bed and i don't know how to get us all in bed together. there is just enough room for the three of us and now we have mabel. DH has said he would sleep on the floor , but that's so sad. i also don't think DS would like that. any suggestions? also with CD and washing....do you bring your own detergent? and how many would you bring for a week? just for DD. this will be mabel's first trip

We're tentatively doing the 'Christmas World Tour' this year to visit family, too. I'm going to bring a pack and play for the baby in case we can't all fit onto the bed (can't remember what size my parents have in the guest room - my bro may have taken the big bed when he moved out) It's not ideal, but it will give us a safe place to keep the baby.

If that's not an option, can DH and DS sleep on the floor? Make it like a special 'campout' for him and it might seem more fun. Bonus - you and Mabel get extra space at night.

As far as detergent, if you usually use something fairly easy-to-get, I'd wait until I got there and buy some to leave at my parents' house. Of course, knowing my overexcited, first-time-grandmother mom, she'd run out and get some just "to have in case of emergency".

Can't help with # of dipes, we're still waiting for Mr. Chicken Legs to grow into his CDs.
