Do you find time to eat?

I've yet to find time for eating. Part of that is that when I do get time, I choose to do housework. Part is also because I don't know what to eat since he's sensitive and partly because it's not easy to get groceries!

I'd lost to my pre-pregnancy weight within a week, then packed 4 pounds back on in the next two weeks because of mom's choices of groceries/meals. Who is complaining when someone else is cooking?!

But since she left, I've lost 4 pounds (in 6 days!)... I'd lose more but I am a sugar/carbs addict and I've been drinking some coke and eating M&Ms and way too many pieces of toast.

I did so much better stying away from junk when pregnant - without trying. Now I am like a junky looking for candy when I run out.

Still, I am losing weight too fast I don't want to screw up my chances at healthy weight loss and keeping it off!

My DH works from home. Usually, I'll make breakfast for everyone and "deliver' it to DH (at "work") then put DS in his high chair. They eat and I do dishes, laundry, sweep, whatever. Sometimes, around noon, DH takes DS to run errands and I get to eat my oatmeal... then DH comes back with lunch

eat what is that?????????????????????????????????

????????????????????????????????

My Problem is i put eating LAST ..... so i get busy when i get a chance (Theo asleep, playing, with daddy) .......... and get stuff done, and always say "next i will eat" riiiiight.

I do eat faily well IF Theo naps, i check e-mail and eat, while i wait for him to wake up -- one hour to hone hour and 15 mintues after going to sleep -- so i am right here to rock him back to sleep for a full nap.

DH feeds me at night, usally with both boys ON ME .. or one on me and the other with scott CRYING for me ....

I am down to 114, I was 111 at frist ob appt, 109 the day of my pos test and 105 when we started TTC.

OB says not to loose more, mom says not to loose more ...

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight If i stay above 100 everyone will have to be happy

My eating habits are crappy right now. I eat breakfast at 11:00, lunch at 3:30, and dinner at 9:00. Lots of processed foods. ugh. I gotta get back on weightwatchers and start doing some form of exercise.

Oh, I should say I've been living off Dark chocolate Lindor truffles and pita chips.

Do I find time to eat? Yes.

Do I find time to prepare nourishing and balanced meals that fulfill commonly recognized food groups? Not so much.

Ditto maisiedotes on the Weight Watchers and exercise... not sure how or when, but it needs to happen soon.

I manage to wolf something down a few times a day. Not always the healthiest choices, but at least it's something.

I haven't lost any weight in the last 2 weeks! What's this all about?! I usually drop the weight like crazy nursing one baby. Now I'm nursing TWO and it's not coming off fast enough. :

I actually am eating a lot. Somehow. I have a toddler who eats constantly and a lot (people are constantly amazed at how much she'll plow back - like an entire can of soup plus some crackers and cheese and fruit for lunch, on top of breakfast, snack at 10:30, snack at 2:30 and then a huge dinner). And the need to feed her makes me eat as well, since I can usually whip up something for both of us without her getting too unhappy.

We are fortunate enough to have gotten mostly gifts of food for baby #2 (probably because people felt sorry for me due to my lack of kitchen) and I'm mostly just thawing things and serving with fruit, raw veggies, cheese and, when I have the time, some cooked veggies.

It's a challenge most days. I'm trying to just snack on enough fruit/dinner leftovers/smoothies to keep from feeling grumpy and shaky. Bagged salads are saving my life! I'm trying not to live on tortilla chips and salsa like I did after DD1 was born. I don't even have bagels in the house since it would be too easy to scarf down two or three of them in a day.

Angie passes out (usually) right after she finishes eating, so I make a bee-line for the kitchen and make something small to eat. I'm a grazer anyway, I'd rather nibble through the day than slam big meals at set times. I fed her a little while ago, she passed out, I made a quick sandwich and got online. Of course, this easy schedule might change once she's older and can stay awake after she eats, but for now, I'm not gonna complain!

I've been pretty good about eating mainly because of ds1. If I'm making something for him, I'll make the effort for myself too. Unfortunately, I've also discovered those darn candy cane hershey's kisses. Luckily the store near us has been out for the last week so I've just been in withdrawal

I have been going nuts with the hole house being sick...my eating has gone to the bottom of the list(doesn't help that the offerings at the food bank were unappealing) I finally remember after I have gone all day without eating and I am shaky...crap I made like a litre of milk...need to put something in there and eat! I have to do better about it..because one it isn't good for me, or the baby I am sure...and two...when I don't eat I gain weight!
