bumping....and I forgot to add that I firmly believe that my autoimmune issues are due to vaccinations. I started with this weird thing when I was in kindergarten......dr's cant figure it out to this day...but every once in a while, my joints swell up, I get hives, feet and hands blow up.....very odd.....

My kids all have allergy junk, autoimmune issues, etc.....Thanks vax! :

Yes.
I strongly believe that my fully vaxed ds1 (now3yrs) was harmed my his vax. Specifically, MMR. Or it could be that the reaction after MMR was as a result of cumulative previous vaxes.

He completely stopped eating, went from 75th percentile Height and Weight to falling off the chart all together. He was always a calm child, it was one of the things people would always comment on, how 'chill' he is, how 'laid back' he is, he was the observing type. After his MMR he completely changed, he shows symptoms of ADHD and ODD. It's scary how he has these 'meltdowns', not just for me but for him too.

People (including his ped) try to tell me it's normal, it's just the way he is, and that kids change. This may be normal for some, but I know in my heart it's not normal for him.

8 yo ds1 had all vaxes til about 3 yo. breastfed for only 6 mo. he gets sick and it drags on and on. he has allergies and has been "diagnosed" with ADHD by people who have just met him since about 3 yrs old.

4 yo dd no vaxes. breastfed 3 yrs. sick perhaps 4 times in her life for about a half day each time. no allergies. calm as the breeze.

8 mo old ds no vaxes. breastfeeding. hasn't been ill once yet.

when I compare the robust health of my 4 yr old with the obviously damaged immune system of my 8 yr old my stomach hurts from guilt and anger.

Yes. My bff's ds has asperger's and adhd. He was fine, hitting all milestones and just a totally normal, bright, articulate kid, til one vax (MMR?), and then over the course of less than 3 weeks, he became a different kid.

I watched it happen (we lived together at that time), and since then, DD has not been vaxed.

I've had the flu vax twice, and both times it made me really ill. One of those times, I got pressured into getting DD a flu vax, too. The next week sucked really bad for both of us! I'm just grateful there were no longer lasting consequences for either of us!
