I'll start...um...I'm still pregnant. Actually, I'm feeling pretty good. Maybe feeling the first twinges of my body gearing up to go into labor in another week or two, like an orchestra tuning up before the big concert. But until then, it's just another press day.
Happy Tuesday, m'dears. Lets see some babies.
And Ms. Muffin...I'm stalking you.

39 and 4. My nephew says today is the day. *giggle* I wish I could oblige. Today is the EDD u/s suggested and I was hopeful all through the night, but nothing is going on.

Guess I really should finish the Christmas outfits though. He is coming soon and I won't get 'em done after he gets here.

I dont know how many weeks I am, I have a MW appt today and I always count on them to tell me. LOL. 39 weeks and some change...

Its funny, with my first, I knew the exact DAYS I was pregnant...then with 2nd, I knew the weeks (the whole pregnancy) and with dd-I could remember the months i was...and with this one, I just say "I dont kow" when someone asks me how far along I am. I just know my due date.

39 weeks today. Pregnant and sore in my nether regions.

Still feeling PMS-y and a little crampy. My skin is breaking out like crazy and my hair is gross. Like others, I hope this is a sign of "gearing up" for the big event.

38 and 2.

Woohoo! I think the December baby boom is happening! Go Mamas! Go! Babies babies and more babies! Congrats to all the new Mamas and their families!

Just for sh*ts and giggles I thought that I'd do the online cntx tracker to see if these BH cntx were in any real pattern---Whew! Nope! some were a few seconds long and spaced 1/2 hour apart, and some were up to 2 minutes long 5-10minutes apart. basically all over the place and although some were a teeny tiny bit stronger than others, for the most part, they were just the same old cntx like I have been having for the last few months. Whew!

Tomorrow, I am going to attempt to go out and get my Hubby's Christmas presents bought with the help and watchful eyes of my MIL. With the extreme pelvic bone pain that I have been having, and with the feeling that I have that the amniotic sac is bulging into my vagina (I am not for certain of this, it is just the best way I can describe the low pressure that I am feeling) I think that it is best that I have my MIL hovering over me, making sure that I am not "pushing it too hard". That means with her coming along, I can't go to the naughty store and buy my Hubby naughty things, oh well. I am, however, going to wear a big ol' pad just in case my water would break, and bring along a change of underwear and another skirt--You know Murphy's Law, and thusly insuring that my water WON'T break because I am prepared.

Oh and another Woohoo! I got a check in the mail today for ÂŁ150 ($300 USD). My Hubby has an AFLAC-like policy through work on the both of us. I was in the icky hospital for 2 nights not too long ago with a pulmonary embolism scare. I am ok Well, woot!, we got paid More moolah for Christmas shopping!

40 + 1 today. Pretty much everything I needed to get done has been taken care of so I'm just trying not to be impatient at this point. Maybe I'll do some yoga and have some eggplant parmesian for dinner.

Could I please borrow your NHS? While you're at it, send me a branch of Agent Provocateur. And some Cadbury's. That should do it.
Happy shopping.

Here! Today I feel comfortably pregnant.
Only 4 more days of work left!

39 weeks 5 days here today. I think that maybe these menstrual cramp-y feelings have started to get a little stronger in the last day, but it may just be wishful thinking. Otherwise I feel pretty good so I just wait. My husband has really gotten it in the last week or so that I need help around the house which is awesome. I didn't even realize everything he was doing until I went to clean the bathrooms this morning and he told me he had done it a couple of days ago (and really I had cleaned them recently so it wasn't that they were so nasty he decided to do it).

Onward and upward I guess

37w 5d and I was up from midnight to 3am with contractions and horrible cramps. I already warned my husband that I might have the baby today. It all just stopped at 3, though, and I finally got some sleep. :yawning:

Still here 38 weeks, 1 day. I've been having bad back pain. I think the baby is posterior so I am going to try a trick someone told me, and scrub the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. Hopefully the baby will get into the right position!

I am getting more and more ctx-and still feeling PMSy. I also have this fear/hope that my back pain is really back labor-is that sick or what?
37w3d just some cramping with an occasional contraction last night. This baby is a tease!! He barely moves anymore, which I'm sure he's packed tight in there but he still scares me.

38 and 2 (Ithink). We are still sick so between that, and contractions I didn't get much sleep last night.

I'm trying to get a bunch of Christmas projects and nesting done today. I'm also getting ready for my MIL and FILto come this weekend and "do Christmas" w/ us (read: bring tons of obnoxious crap for dd and annoy me to death). I'm sooo not looking forward to playing hostess or to seeing my MIL.

Today is my edd and I feel pretty uncomfortable, but like I'll still be pregnant for another week. Went to get a Christmas tree yesterday and walking around the feild I was getting contractions, but once I got home they settled down. I almost wonder if baby is waiting for me to get the house clean too. DH and I keep cleaning but for some reason it seems like the house is never clean. Then there is all the stuff going on. Thursday my girlies have gymnastics, the next day DD#1 has cheer, Sat she has a cheer competition, Then next week she has girls scouts and her class holiday party. Maybe the baby is just waiting for her to go on Christmas break... *Sigh* I don't know.

38 + 5 here. Had MW appt this morning and baby seems to have dropped, so that appears to be a good sign. Overwhelmed at work with tasks to be completed before maternity leave and soooooooooooo tired of being this crampy and swollen. If one more person comments on my ankles, I'm going to strangle them! Other than that, I'm good.

37 weeks and change here. :
40 weeks today! First day out of the office on maternity leave. Seems like a lot of people waited until their babies actually arrived to start their leave, but
a) I simply couldn't field any more discussion about when the baby was coming (wtf, I'm just term today!), and
b) my midwife had a really good point when she said yeah, you could keep on working but would you really want to go into labor after spending an entire day in the office?

So I'm home, comfy and waiting. Weaning myself off my work email. As dp said on his way out the door, "c'mon out, Bean!"

Oh, and is anybody else planning on turning off their phones when labor starts? My mom really wants me to call and let her know right away so she can start making her way here to the city from upstate, 5 hours away. But it feels like a jinx to me to make declarative phone calls at that point. I did promise to call her as soon as the baby's out, but I feel like a labor alert system might slow things down.
