The View today

So, I don't really ever watch The View b/c I don't have tv, and it's The View, but I'm catsitting for my friend this week and while I was over at her place, I flipped through her channels. They were interviewing the lady who played the sister on Six Feet Under (whose name escapes me), and Barbara Walters commented that she had stopped by the dressing room to welcome her and met her husband and her little boy. She also mentioned in passing, not making a big deal about it, that she was nursing him when she stopped by. Later it came up that he was 10 months old! I thought it was so cool that Barbara Walters brought it up at all, and no one made any kind of comments suggesting it was anything but natural. It was a total non-issue, which was refreshing. Just wondering if anyone saw that.

I saw it! Anot only did barbara mention it, she was so loving about it! "I saw you backstage nursing that beautiful baby boy of yours!)" - which surprised ,me, since shehad said on the show a few years ago that sitting next to a nursing mom had made her uncomfortable.

Considering the last time she bashed NIP and then tried to lie about it, it is nice to see some progress, even PR progress.

I hope having Sherri Shephard on there helps. She's a nursing mom (or was) and still co-sleeps with her son.

Not sure about that. Her son was a micro premiee & he lives on the west coast she on the east.
