Christmas Cocktails, volumes 1 and 2, by Ultra Lounge. Marvelously cheesy 50s and 60s versions of Christmas classics in lounge-music, mambo, cha-cha, rhumba style and so forth.

Smooth, babe ...

My DD's favorite (and DH loves it too) is John Denver with the Muppets.

I love A Quiet Knowing Christmas by Brian Dunning which is all instrumental and very relaxing.

And I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit to this one, but something in me is loving the Celtic Woman Christmas CD. All that over the top dramatic choral music is appealing to me this year for some reason.

I just bought Johnny Cash's Christmas album, and I know it's going to be a family favorite. The other two that I haul out every year are: Frank Sinatra's Christmas cd, and a cs of Medieval Christmas songs sung by an English choir. I know, strange mix. Good to know that Rev. H H and the SNZ do Christmas music!

Johnny Cash, for sure.
I also love this punk rock Christmas record we have called Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus, Volume II. There's a great song on there called Snackin' Santa that contains one of the funniest lines I've ever heard
"He eats and eats 'til his face turns pruple
He's the snack marauder from the Arctic Circle"
Amazing!

I love Christmas in the Stars

Star Wars Christmas Musical. I only have a worn out old tape of it that will surely bite the dust soon. Has anyone heard this too?

Heres what else I found:

The album made its CD debut in 1994 as an unheralded budget-label release by JFC/Polygram Special Markets (catalog # 314 520 216-2), with all artwork and references to Star Wars (except for those in the song titles) removed from the packaging. The only credit on the package was "Meco," and it featured a generic cover photo of spacey looking Christmas boxes and decorations.

It was released on CD again, with its original cover art restored, on October 15, 1996, this time by Rhino records, during the popularity of the Shadows of the Empire project.

12 Songs of Christmas by Jim Reeves - as I was growing up; we would listen to this album as we decorated the tree and I still listen to it every Christmas even though it’s a bit daggy – the song Old Christmas Card made me cry this year.
Elvis' Christmas Album by Elvis Presley - I love the song Peace in the Valley
