I'll start today's thread

38 and 3. As soon as I post this, I am going out Christmas shopping with my MIL. I was sooo looking forwards to it yesterday, but today I am feeling kinda blaaaaah about it. I'll report in once I get back.

I am also a card carrying member of the Broken Crotch Club (great name, btw, Aubrey!!!), and the thought of a walker to get around is actually getting appealing....or better yet!! --AN ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR!!! ooo, yeah, with a super cushie heated seat for my poor tailbone and sacrum!!! Blissssssss! Then I could have rockstar seating on the bus and mow down all the grumpy nasty Scrooges that are bound to be out today. *poof--snapping out of daydream* Oh, perhaps not.. I guess I'll just shuffle on.....

See ya Ladies later!

Still here! Lots of back pain and contractions in my back yesterday that went away. I also think that I somehow pulled a muscle in my hip because it keeps hurting.

Does anyone else have a really hard time finding a comfortable sleeping position? If I sleep to long on either side, baby slides down into my pelvis and my pubic bone hurts. Back and stomach is out. If I sleep sitting up, my back starts to hurt. I basically have to change positions every hour-hour and a half! Even then getting out of bed hurts!!

Yawn. Stretch. Good morning, y'all.
Hope all those hips and crotches start feeling better.
ELVs to Ann. :::
Oh, yes. And I'm still pregnant two weeks before my due date, to the great confusion of those around me.

One day past my edd. I'm feeling pretty good. I actually went on a bike ride yersterday. I have a appointment with my doctor today. last week I was 2 1/2 centameters dialated and 80% effaced, but i guess that doesn't really mean much.

Well I'm officially overdue. Still want this kid out, not because I'm impatient so much as because I am in PAIN! I am trying my best to keep relaxed but I just can't, everything hurts, even sleeping. Actually, especially sleeping. My poor toddler is getting the brunt of my irritability, too. Thank goodness DH is off today and can help with him.

39 and 5. My mom is here, the plumbing is still broken, and my midwife is going out of town tomorrow evening until sometime Friday. At least my mom is here.

I'm having sleep position problems too. I know I kept my poor mom up all night. We had to change the sheets just before midnight b/c the sheet I'd made the bed up with was making me itch (it's one of the extras for the birth and isn't 100% cotton). I bet I got up to pee 6 times last night.

I'm tired, I'm cranky, and I wish these ctx would either go somewhere or stop.

Well, at least it's the literal plumbing that's broken, rather than the figurative plumbing. Still sucks, though.

That is pretty much my story too. 1 day past EDD and very very uncomfortable. (another member of the broken crotch club.) Doesn't help that yesterday I literally had to chase my 6 y/o half way around the block because she didn't want to come inside and no one else was around to help go get her. I ended up in tears by the time we got back to the house and my 4 y/o was so upset by me crying that she sat her sister down and told her why that was wrong of her.

Yah, at first I typed "my" plumbing, but I knew that would be confusing. My plumbing is fine...overactive, really.

Hi mamas. Julian has had a runny nose/drooley mouth for a few days, and I thought it was teething. But now he's coughing. I really really really really really REALLY don't want to get a cold right now. Anywho, still pregnant.

Had my MW appointment yesterdaay, with "the other" midwife (the one who wont come to the house.)

It turns out she is much more interventave than my homebirth mw. She was getting the table all ready to check my cervix, (I already know there is no change-or I would have seen some mucous---AND its not like cervical change is all that telling anyways!)

I just let her, cause dh was curious.

I am very worried because it turns out that if I go to 41 weeks I have to consult with the birth centers OB. And pretty much do natural induction at that point. : At 41 weeks?!?!?!?!?!

I am hoping that they can play with my due dates a little bit though, because I did have an ultrasound that put my due date at 12/25, instead of 12/15. (Although it was a later US so not as accurate.) But they can still use the daates. My homebirth MW will I think.

I am just shocked that they would induce at 41 weeks. In fact, I think they would have induced at 38 weeks if I had asked them to,

Just holding on to the baby until my homebirth MW gets back. I want a non-interventave birth!!!!!!!!!

yuck...try apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp 2x a day in his juice. its my newest natural remedy and cured my kids of a nasty cold.

Hey, I was just considering the name Julian for this bean....seriously! Its like at the top of my list. I was having pregnant brain trying to figure out where the hell I came up with it.

I thought it was from John Lennons son...but it was you!

Julian is an awesome name! Of course, I'm biased. Bob Marley also has a Julian.

As far as Julian being sick, I'm not that worried about HIM, I'm only worried about me. : How selfish is that? I REaLLY don't want to be laboring with a runny nose.

Still here 39w1d. Brown/pink goo is coming out of me. Broken crotch club here too.
Yeah, I'm supposed to see my backup OB if I go to 41 weeks. That deadline REALLY annoys me. I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it. grrrrrrrrrr.

Can my brown/pink goo mean something please???!!!

Still pregnant, still sick. 38w 3d, I think. Nothing is going on.DH is leaving town and will be 5+ hours away with spotty cell phone reception until Sunday. Thats just asking for a baby right?

Ok, now I have the "vomit taste" in my mouth, and my stomach feels queasy. Please shoot me.

40 weeks today with baby #6! I have a Christmas party tonight that I am nominally in charge of, so I'd like the baby to wait until tomorrow to come. Got ds's birthday over with yesterday, and I'm really glad he didn't have a share a birthday.

Baby is still very high, and I am very sore. But sometimes the thought of taking care of ANOTHER little person is a little intimidating--so I'm not in SUCH a huge hurry.

Checking in early today!

39 weeks today. Babies come when babies are ready to come. Babies come when babies are ready to come. Babies come when babies are ready to come. Babies come when babies are ready to come. Repeat.

Meh.

Baby decided not to get rolling last night, but Maggie decided to add some middle-of-the-night excitement by vomiting copiously from 2:30 to 4:30. Quite lovely.

Still pregnant. Stayed home from work. Pain in my back (ribs) that would have made a 45 minutes commute pure torture. Some days I can tough it out, but today is not one of them.

No real signs of anything. A little crampy this morning but that is nothing new. Only have to make it to Friday for my last day of work!

Yes, rinse and repeat, Babies come when they're suppose to come.

Oh yeah! I had this dream that someone totally scolded us via a post for having this thread because "It wasn't going to make the babies come any faster and you'll just make yourselves all crazy!"

MDC infiltrates my dreams!
