I've noticed my dh comes home from work fearfully lately because he never knows what kind of wierd mindstate I will be in... poor guy. Today when he got home I was freaked out because I ordered a Maya rs and the UPS tracker said it was delivered yesterday and I was so upset. Turns out they threw it over our side fence and it landed in a garbage can. My crotch feels like it's full of lightening bolts.
I love emibeans too - I ordered a wetbag last year and its aweome!

Starry Mama - i'm so sorry you're sick!! That just sucks. Maybe it will progress into labor? That's what happened with my intestinal bug the first time.

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow. Had MW appt today and baby sounds good, but is slightly posterior. She was not concerned, but I am a little. Going to do some cat and cows tonight.

Crotch is broken and roids persist.

DH and I DTD last night after a LONG hiatus and it was great. No contrax of bleeding or anything after, but today there's been LOTS of clear mucous so something's going on.

I'm pretty much set for X-mas and baby, but in no rush. Sleeping well and making myself take naps when I can to get over this throat/chest cold thingy. I, too, do NOT want to be sick in labor! I've already had strep and bronchitis this pg. Gimme a break!

Oh, and I was told today that the hospital does not allow video tape of the actual birth. Before and after is fine and still photos are fine, but no video of the crowning, etc. That's the part I want to see!! Ugh.

hmmm....sounds like they don't want any possible evidence of what they do in case something were to go wrong....

Or is that just the conspiracy theorist in me peeking out again?

Good night, all! Best wishes for sweet dreams and excellent rest for all of us! May we be holding our babies in our arms SOON!

Personally, I'm having a good feeling about tomorrow...ate spicy chinese take-out tonight, and I can't think of anything more likely to send me into labor, LOL!

But if not, oh well! Babies come when babies are ready. Babies come when babies are ready. loop tape.

I have this new funky feeling. It feels like my vagina is cold inside. It's a weird tingly feeling like something is going on and I've been having lots of contractions. Hmmm...I take it it's sympathetic to the weather?:

Liability. If they mess up, it's on tape. That's what my doctor told me with my last birth. They let us the first 2 births and changed the policy.

Still here.
Feeling odd.

Got dizzy this afternoon - dont know if it was blood sugar or what. My blood pressure was elevated last appointment - my usual is somewhere around 110/60, and it was 128/63. So not high, but a bit higher for me.

They admitted that?

And how completely fu*ked is that?

"Yeah we might mess up, and uh - we dont want you to have any evidence of it. So we're going to hinder you personal memory recordings."

Yup. I knew these doctors for years and worked in the hospital so it wasn't exactly secret.

I hear it's a growing trend, too.

Our digital camera has a video setting, I'd just put it to that, they'll never know. :

That's a good idea! I'm hoping no one will notice anyway. We could pretend to shut off the video, then leave it on. We'll try anyway.

The MWs told me it was liability reasons, so yeah, they're pretty honest about it, but really, if I'm in the tub pushing out my baby, what the heck are they liable for? THEY'RE not doing anything! I'm doing all the work.

41 wk and 2 days!!! i have NST and ultrasound tomorrow. I scheduled it for late afternoon hoping to go into labor before then. Baby Girl come on out!

I'm kind of on the clock since i'm doing a VBAC. Met with MW on saturday and i finally let her check me. I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced and -1 station. But my cervix is still way back there. No signs of labor to boot!

This waiting game is driving me nuts.

I'm off to bed. Very sore, very tired, very grumpy. Cried at everything today. I feel like I'm PMSing. Could it be soon? I feel like a bad mama cause I'm not even excited to see my baby anymore, I just don't want to be pregnant one. minute. longer. (I'm such a wimp.)

Sleeping is uncomfortable, eating is uncomfortable, picking up my toddler is almost impossible, I should just take a bath with lavendar until baby comes. That sounds nice.

I hope I am in labor and can't check in tomorrow. Never hurt to have hope!

Action is happening!!! Contractions five minutes apart and starting to get intense. Mucus plug fell out at 10pm. This baby is on her way!

She's already listening to her mama.. the moon is safely in Aquarius now..lol
(Not that a Cappy moon is bad.. just extra challenging. The most challenging off all moon signs actually and often indicative of a "difficult" mother. Something I really hope I'm not!)

Gosh my bag isn't even packed and I need to call my midwives and give em heads up and eat something with protein...I just finished my belly cast at 9pm.. talk about waiting till the last minute.. I'm such a procrastinator. Allrightly I'm off to take care of stuff and have this baby. Send me some good birth vibes, ladies!!
