Tomorrow Big Day-getting nervous

Thread Starter
Well the day has finally come and I didn't think I'd be this nervous but I guess it's to be expected at any type of surgery. I am scheduled for a c-sec tomorrow morning at 8am.... With that said I would appreciate any good vibes or prayers (if you pray). I have a 2 yr old that I have to leave behind and is very attached to her mama. Everytime I think of leaving her I feel so guilty and want to cry all the time. She will be able to come visit but not stay due to the stupid hospital rules It will at least give me time to bond with her baby sister alone. My mom & dad are coming to stay the weekend with us and she is very attached to them so it does make me feel much better. Well next time I post hopefully we will all be healing well and at home. Wishing you all beautiful healthy births

All my best. Prayers and wishes. I'm sorry they won't let you have your daughter stay with you, that would really bother me too.
Soon you'll be holding your precious bundle!

Sending my prayers! It would be very hard for me to leave my 2 year old DD overnight too. I don't think many hospitals would let a minor stay overnight. But really, it will be fine. Your DD will have lots of spoiled fun with your parents. Good luck and congratulations!

Good luck to you! I couldn't get a homebirth MW around here, so I had to go with another hospital birth (at least I'm lucky enough to have one that has a great birth center, does water births, etc.) but that means I, too, will have to be away from my very mommy-attached 2-year-old dd for at least a night, so I can relate to the concern! I'm sure you'll be fine, and she'll be spoiled by those grandparents. Enjoy bonding with your new baby girl. Isn't it exciting to know that dd will soon have a little sister? Our family is shaping up the same way, and I couldn't be happier about the two-girl thing.

Sending lots of good vibes. I too was so incredibly worried about leaving my 16 month old very attached to mommy, dd, at home while I was in the hospital over night. She of course, was fine!! And the one thing I didn't realize, was that because of that, I got to spend 24 amazing hours bonding just one on one with dd#2. And I think because I knew that I would have to share my time with two kids I really made those few hours special. I feel like I really bonded with dd2.
