Get more firewood
Get one last Xmas present
Clean humedifier
Finish washing ton of free baby clothes I was given

I still have some Christmas gifts to buy, but really I'm not too worried about them. They can wait. I want to go and get some groceries, our fridge is just about only condiments. Otherwise....HAVE MY BABY is top priority.

I am obsessed with finishing a deep clean of the house for two reasons:

1.) I will not be comfortable if my midwife, friends, family are in my house with it not clean (yeah... I'm one of those.. LOL)

2.) I want NOTHING left to do after baby arrives except snuggle as a family. I'd prefer DH spent his time snuggling and not cleaning for me.

All the stuff I need for the birth is bought and here already.

Not much, really--and nothing where it'll be really bad if it doesn't happen before the baby gets here.

I want to:
Make birth music mixes
Take more belly photos with photographer friend
Set up co-sleeper
Freeze a few more meals
get a haircut
order a couple last Christmas presents online

And I would love it if Aaron finished the nursury walls, fixed the broken hallway tiles and fixed the leaky guest toilet. But I'm feeling very zen about all that and I decided to not mention it anymore. Because I can't control his actions, but I can control whether or not I turn into a horrific nag.

*When birth supplies come, play with them and organize them to *my* liking.
*When hose stuff comes, test it out.
*make 2 lasagnas, 1 shephard's pie, and a batch of lentil soup to freeze.
*make pumpkin bread/muffins and choco-chip cookies to freeze
*make a list for DH about homeopathic/herbal remedies for postpartum.
*print out phone number list for birth.
*finalize Christmas gift plans with DH
*lanolize the last of the newborn wool
*make "labor music" CD

Done:
*car seat cleaned and installed in my car
*birth pool blown up
*baby clothes washed and put away
*newborn diapers washed and put away

My house is driving me CRAZY. I finally deep-cleaned our three dog crates today (horrible task while pregnant!) and want everything "deep cleaned" so I can get by with spot cleaning from here on out...

DP needs to recaulk the kitchen sink and fix the two broken counter tiles
Finish painting master bathroom...it's half done
Deep clean laundry room
Organize freezer
Empty and clean hall closet (must find somewhere for golf clubs!)
Have two sets of sheets washed and folded on standby
DUST
Clean bathrooms - again
Go grocery shopping
Install carseat
Organize bills/paperwork

Not necessarily pre-baby, but before Xmas:

Finish embroidering eyes and teeth on ds' present.
Finish knitting my mittens (should be done tonight!)
Knit some random stuff if I get motivated. Gotta use up yarn scraps!
Call insurance people about something stupid
Drop off some stuff to donate

That's it. I've been ready for baby for awhile now.

I dont have too much stuff left. We have done our deep cleaning, so I am hoping baby is born soon so that it will still be clean when he is born. I do need to keep cleaning and thinning out my DS toy room. It is a lot more work than what I thought so it could take awhile. Mainly I am just waiting for baby to come. Xmas shopping is done and wrapped, baby stuff is set up and my bag is hanging out at the door waiting to be grabbed on the way to the hospital.

I need to:

Before the baby comes home...
1. Rearrange the bedroom furniture so that the crib can be a co-sleeper.
2. Get the car seat installation inspected.
3. Wash my cloth diapers.
4. Wash the rest of the newborn stuff that I was recently given.

Then at some point......
1.put the baby's tummy time stuff out of the box.
2. get the baby's room together before he is old enough to recognize that it's really the guest room that threw up baby stuff-and he actually wants to sleep there and not with us.
3. Write thank you notes for my baby shower gifts.
Not much baby-related stuff left, just a ton of little things that need to be taken care of because I won't have the time/inclination after birth. I'm past my due date - shouldn't I have finished this stuff by now?
  • change cell phone message and stop answering phone
  • write and mail thank you note to N&T
  • print out mailer and mail paperbackswap book
  • call in prescription refill and pick up when ready
  • renew/return library books
  • write or type out instructions for doing laundry for doula and mom
  • pick up packages from mom's house
  • wash wash cloths, wash and lanolize Aristocrats wool soaker
  • pay bills through beginning/middle of January
  • CLEAN! - put away baby clothes from S to sort through after we know the gender, deep clean kitchen and bathroom, organize/babyproof bedroom, deal with paper clutter in living/dining room, vacuum

Not to mention all of the books I was planning on finishing before baby arrives. I think there are 5-6 of them on my bedside table.

I actually had tons of time to read after having dd. I read while I nursed. It was great!
I finished re-organizing our closet, went through clothes to drop off at different donation sites, called the insurance people, had dh take some stuff to the garage, and lanoized wool stuff.

The maintenance guys fixed our closet, window, and dishwasher. I am doing laundry. And I just need to seam one mitten! I might felt it down a bit. It's a bit fat.

Now I need to sell some things on the TP. Maybe. If I can figure it out!
