37w4d, I think. At least according to the calendar. This whole 'unknown dates' thing is really starting to bite some serious butt. A part of me is like "Woah, 38 weeks and change, time to get moving!" and another part of me is like "You're only 37 weeks, you have forever!" The thing is that I feel way more debilitatedly pregnant than I EVER did with DS, so my body is screaming that it's really about done with this, regardless of what the baby or the calendar or anyone else might thing.

Also, I got my maternity portraits done today! I'm SO glad we found the time and the money to do them, because they came out awesome and it was such a cool experience. I also called off work and took a day of PTO, which I didn't know how much I needed until I did it. Tomorrow we have a midwife appointment, so we'll see if all these intermittent contractions have done anything or not.

Hi!

Grumpy and sad. Haven't cried yet today though so that's good. I scoured my sink this morning and did laundry. Was going to walk but its POURING rain and it's cold too. DH is home early from work.

I'm pretty sure this child has dropped because I cannot walk anymore, I cannot sit anymore and I can breathe! Aaaahhhh!

I have a MW appt tomorrow. 39 wks tomorrow. She won't check me or anything so I'll just weigh, do bp check and pee. la dee da! I would like to have this baby on the 15th or 16th. Those sound like good birthdays!

The highway to my hospital is shut down. The snowstorm has made the roads really bad. Based on traffic reports, it would likely take us 3-4 hours to get to the hospital.

Please stay in tonight, baby!!!

OMG guys, I woke up at 3 AM yesterday and I thought I was going to VOMIT FIRE.

I havent had much reflux this pregnancy but I hurt so bad I almost cried in the middle of the night. It was awful. I downed like 5 tums...they were awful too.

We have to get all 4 tires on our car changed because apparently we have been driving on the wrong size tires. We also have to get one of the screws on our tires replaced because DP broke it while trying to change the tire. It all comes down to the tune of 600 dollars!!! Can you say credit cards?????

So we have a rental car for now. All I need now is to go into labor so we can get charged extra money for not picking up our car in time!!!!

So I need anti labor vibes now! Of course now I am getting stronger ctx that I refuse to time!

I feel great during the day but at night its the worst and I'm so ready to have him. I'll send you anti vibes, you send me labor ones!

heeeeeeck no! Count me out on this one, Ladies! I'll take all those unwanted labor vibes off your hands!

I tried to post earlier today--had quite a long post in the works, then I got busy making dinner, and dUh (no that's not a typo! ) came home and logged me out, and I lost the whole fuhreakin' post!

While I was cooking HIS dinner! He didn't even ask if I was using the computer! Grrr!

So, anyway, I'm 39 and 1 today, and baby is still firmly internal. Meh.

The kids decided to give us some middle-of-the-night excitement though--they took turns leading the puke parade! :Puke

My spicy chinese food had no effect on me, but apparently it did on them.

So, dd started vomiting (for the second night in a row) at about 2am. She managed to completely miss the puke bowl sitting on her nightstand, and the sheets/pillows/blankets that could be laundered with relative ease...instead she bypassed them in favor of making a huge mess on the very light-colored carpet in the doorway of the bedroom. 2 steps further and she'd have been on the tile floor of the hallway. gah! And I have NO IDEA what she ate that turned it all pink, but that was just icing on the cake.

So, we had barely got that mess cleaned up, and everyone back in bed and settled down, when ds1 took his turn. He sleeps on the top bunk, so after getting all over his bed, it spewed down the wall and got all over her clean bed, too. And then onto the carpet behind the beds. Oh, the joy! I would have much rather woken up in labor. But I guess if the puke had to happen, I'm glad I wasn't also laboring at the same time.

So, they all were a bit subdued today, but acted pretty well and ate decently, though lightly. Maybe (oh please, God!) it is over now. ds2 hasn't succumbed yet, and neither have any of the adults in the house, so I guess we aren't in the clear yet. And as much as I really really REALLY want this baby to come OUT NOW!!! I even *more really* don't want to give birth in the midst of a stomach virus!

laLaalalalalaLaLaLalalalalaLaaaa! Babies come when Babies are ready to come!

sarah you make me glad my entire house is tile.

Hope you got some sleep!

If I ever move, I will not have carpet in my house. Even in the bedrooms.

Sarah,

Thanks y'all! Unfortunately, it's not over. Ds1 has been vomiting all morning.

But I'm determined to put a positive spin on it. At least this gives me one small reason to be thankful that I'm not yet in labor!
