Vomit anyone?

Okay, so I felt fine today. Brushed my teeth and vomited my whole brekkie into the sink. It was like all of a sudden I thought, 'I feel a little nauseous' and whammo there it was. Now I am tired, but feel fine still. So of course I scoured the books and internet for any sign saying that I will go into labor today. I did find one source that said flu like symptoms without the fever are common the day before baby is born. So my plan is now to have baby tomorrow, a Friday baby will be good. Anyone else ever have this happen or feel like this now? Like I said, I feel totally fine and have not been around anyone who is sick either.

I threw up last night too. I think it was because I took my prenatal vitamin on an empty stomach though......

I've been throwing up more often recently. On Sunday I had to run out to the car in the middle of church to throw up. I carry a barf bag with me everywhere.

I puked yesterday and my first thought was "this better not be a sign of labor!". Then I had diarrhea all day and realized I just had a bug. I hope your pukies turn into labor though!!!

Me too. I'm not sick though, I think my body just doesn't want as much food right now as my brain does. : : :

I was throwing up copiously on Friday, and I felt sort of weak and achy like I ate something bad. Really, it didn't feel like what I would expect labor to be like--it felt like mild food poisoning or a stomach bug in pretty much every way. But my midwife said it sounded super-typical of pre-labor excitement. The way she described it, your hormone levels get higher than what you're used to and that leads to nausea.
I was wondering if it meant I was about to go into labor, but it's almost a week later and I haven't had any more activity. I don't think it's a sign of imminent labor, but I think it could mean that your body is gearing up in that general direction.

Threw up yesterday also after I tried to drink some RRL tea. Sometimes it makes me nauseated. Yesterday it made me sick. I was sure wishing it was a sign of labor coming, but no such luck.

My only symptom before active labor w/ DD was bad nausea!

Good luck to you!
