Asher is 14 lbs!!!

I weighed him at my six week pp visit today. WOW!!! He was 8 lbs. 2 oz. at birth.

And, I'm 7 lbs. below my pre-preg weight. I've still got a long way to go (pregnancy leftovers from my other two pregs), but it feels good. I've been eating like a pig, too! Must be Asher's nursing it all away...he eats enough, I deserve something for all the nipple trauma!

Wow! That's awesome, Serina!

My DS grew really quickly like that and was such a chunker. My DD, and the twins, are proving to be slower.

Great job Mama!! I need to find a scale somewhere and weigh DS, I'm curious myself.

my first was a slower gainer, too. she was barely chubby by nine months, and it took a lot of work to get her there! then she thinned out again and has always been slim since then. isn't it funny how different they can be?

these last two have been soooo fast at weight gain. ellery was almost 21 lbs. at six months!

did your DS ever slow down or is he still big. Fin is 13 pounds at almost six weeks. He is outgrowing his 3-6 month clothes! DD #1 was always a skinny little thing so am so not used to this!

Not Lindsey, but my 2nd daughter slowed down the weight gain by six months - 12 months , then growing taller. Now, at two, she's slightly tall and has cute chubby thighs, but is normal for her age.

That is awesome Serina!! Ya gotta love those milk-guzzling chubsters .

We had a pp midwife visit yesterday. Silas will be a month old on Monday and he is 11 lbs, 11 oz already .

What size is he wearing at that weight??

I realized Lach must be over 10 pounds by now and by 14 he'll need the next size up in Fuzzi Buns again. Scary.

3-6 mos. He's quite tall, esp. in the torso, such that the bodies of 6-9 mos sleepers and onesies fit better, but the legs/arms are a tad long.

WOW! I have a chunky baby too.

Alexander is 12 pounds and 2 ounces at one month and 23 inches long. He had dropped from the 9 pound birth weight to 8 pounds 8 ounces by his 4th day.

I am already having to pack away his NB sizes and some of the 0-3 month clothes because the feet are too short, etc.

Mairaed is 8 lb .5 oz (she was 6-15 at birth) and is still in newborn clothes. I can't wait till she fattens up! It appears that her weight gain is mostly in her face... like her mama.
